Welcome to International Music Radio's blog once again. Our radio show plays music from all over the world. We are mostly focused on Bollywood songs. We also play Afghan, Arabic, Jamaican, and Persian music. If you want to hear a certain song from your country then please call us and request your song at (415) 338-1532.

So far, we  introduced you to some artists from all over the globe. We hope you enjoyed our videos and images on our blog.

William Holland is a musician, DJ and record producer from Bewdley, Worcestershire. He is based in Colombia.

He records under various guises, notably, Quantic, The Quantic Soul Orchestra, and The Limp Twins. 

His music draws upon elements of salsa, bossa nova, soul, funk and jazz. Holland plays guitars, bass, double bass, piano, organ, saxophone and percussion. Much of his sound is original composition with little in the way of sampling of other artists' material.

Holland also has his own label Magnetic Fields on which he releases heavy soul and funk. He has also taken on remix duties for over 30 songs.

What truly got me inspired to explore his music was this AMAZING mix done by J-Rocc of the World Famous Beat Junkies. A turntablist crew out of LA. 

The mix is called Best of Quantic by J-Rocc (duh).

Sonu Nigam- Indian Artist

                                        

Sonu Nigam is a Bollywood singer. He introduced Indi pop music and acted in his own  music videos. Sonu Nigam is India's most favorite singer  because of his style of singing and composing songs. His songs are mostly romantic and loved based. Nigam won  the National Film Award for the best  male play back singer in the year 2004. I grew up listening to his songs that's why he is very close to my heart.

This is my most favorite song of Sonu Nigam. I love this song because every time I listen to it, it brings back many memories of my childhood. I grew up listening and watching his music videos. Although, you can't understand the meaning, I'm still sure you will enjoy his music.

Bollywood Artists

A R Rahman is an Indian artist who sings for Bollywood movies. At the age of 4, he started to learn piano and from their his passion grew for music. Rahman has won two Academy Awards, two Grammy Awards and much more. In the year 2011, UK based World Wide Music magazine songlines named him one of Tomorrow World Music Icons. He was the main singer for the movie Slum Dog Millionaire.

One of my favortie songs of him is called "Chaiya Chaiya" from the Indian movie called Dil Se.
